November POWerful Word – SELF-ESTEEM – Week 3
Today let’s talk about self-esteem and some of our differences. Nobody is great at everything and everyone is working on something. Let me say that again- nobody is great at everything and everyone is working on something. Some people are really great in learning languages, some are great in doing math, others are great with understanding skills in sports. Some people have some challenges when reading or writing while others have challenges playing an instrument, singing, dancing or coding. What does your brain do well? What is something you are working on or a goal that you are striving to achieve? Do YOU believe that you can achieve that goal? Do YOU believe that you are worthy of achieving your goals? Yes! Someone once said; “Believe in your dreams and they may come true; believe in yourself and they will come true.” Say; “I believe in myself! It can be easy to get caught up in comparing our performance with others– but what happens to our self-esteem when we compare ourselves to others? Keep focusing forward!
If you have time: What should you do if you are struggling to do well in school or here in class?
