June Powerful Word – INTEGRITY – Week 2
This week, we’re talking about keeping our promises, commitments, and our word. We often hear of young people (and some adults too) quitting before they fulfill their goals, their promises and their commitments. What do you think that’s all about? How can we encourage those we lead, teach and mentor to step up and finish what they’ve started? If you think back to a time you quit something, do you regret it or do you still think it was the right choice? If a younger student told you s/he was thinking of quitting, what would you say? This week, your Powerful Thought Assignment is to think about a time when you were ready to quit or shirk your responsibilities but didn’t. What kept your integrity intact? How does that serve you now?
