Monday Miyagi 10/06/14
My staff, students and I had the pleasure of spending the last week with master teacher, Mr. Tom Callos of The 100. Method and I was reminded of the importance of blogging. I started a weekly “Monday Miyagi” blog post in May of 2009, and posted consistently through March of 2010, and then sporadically, and then not at all. My first Monday Miyagi on 05/18/09 was on the power of making a public commitment to your goals. Today, I am recommitting to my weekly blog posts and in honor of my son’s 5th birthday (today) I am re-posting my 10/05/09 blog. Enjoy!

This week’s Monday Miyagi is being posted on Sunday 10/11/09 – almost a week late. On Monday, at 6:31pm, my wife called me and said, “Can you please come home?” and that was the start of our newest biggest adventure. At 2:43am on Tuesday 10/6/09 our son, Mateo Tandog Herrman arrived in this wonderful world. Enjoy!
