February Powerful Word – LOYALTY – Week 4
This week we’re talking about loyalty with regard to this school and your fellow leaders. Rensis Likert once said; “The greater loyalty of a group toward the group, the greater is the motivation among the members to achieve the goals of the group, and the greater probability that the group will achieve its goals.” How does loyalty among all of us play a role in your learning, growing, and goals? Knowing this, how can we impress upon young people in school that loyalty is of the utmost importance? What kinds of loyalty issues have you seen here in the school and how can we help solve these issues? This week your Powerful Thought Assignment is to write down your own contribution to creating loyalty among members, or conversly, perpetuating a loyalty issue. Accountability, in this case, can help all leaaders be more proactive in developing loyal members.
